Convertible sofa bed – There are many reasons why a person would want to use convertible sofa bed. Living in an apartment or dorm can mean your bed has double as a sofa. You may want to keep some sleeping space in your home office. You may only need a couch and an extra single bed. Whatever your reason is, you can follow these steps on using a single bed sofa.
Remove any posts of the bed. To convert the bed into a couch, it helps to make foot and headboard less dominant. This may mean removing the cross from the headboard, in an attempt to make the head and foot height. It can also mean to delete posts from a four-poster bed. If you can remove the headboard and footboard brand that would give you convertible sofa bed to begin with.
Adjust the height of the bed. The convertible sofa bed should be a height where you can sit comfortably and not have to climb on. Most beds are a little too high and then trade out mattresses for a thin mattresses, low profile or plywood base (as in a platform bed) will make your bed a comfortable height for sitting. If your bed is too low to sit, you can adjust the height of the risers. Put the bed against the wall. The most important part of making a bed to the sofa’s location. To put it against a wall or in a corner immediately provide the structure with a backrest and at least one side.
